Disclaimer and Risk Disclosure

Last updated: 26 August 2026

1. Scope

This disclosure applies to all IndiaPulse websites, mobile applications, dashboards, screeners, charts, alerts, notifications, emails, exports, portfolio tools, backtests, scores, labels, summaries, and AI-generated content (collectively, the “Platform”). Use the Platform only as one input in your own independent research process.

2. Nature of the service and registration status

IndiaPulse is an analytics product. It is not a SEBI-registered Investment Adviser or Research Analyst, and it is not a stock broker, portfolio manager, exchange, depository participant, custodian, or trade-execution venue. It does not place or route orders, hold client money or securities, operate a demat account, or guarantee execution at any displayed price.

Your use of the Platform does not create an adviser-client, analyst-client, fiduciary, agency, brokerage, or portfolio-management relationship. You can verify the registration status of financial-market intermediaries through SEBI’s recognised intermediaries directory.

3. No personalized advice or suitability assessment

IndiaPulse does not know your complete income, liabilities, dependants, emergency reserves, tax circumstances, other assets, time horizon, investment experience, objectives, risk tolerance, or capacity to absorb a loss. It therefore cannot determine whether any security, allocation, trade, or strategy is suitable for you.

This remains true when you enter holdings, capital, age, goals, or other information into Portfolio Maker, Custom Portfolio Builder, Dr Portfolio, or a rebalance screen. Portfolio weights, share quantities, targets, stop levels, tax flags, and action labels are mechanical what-if outputs based on limited inputs. They are not a personal recommendation and should not be executed solely because the Platform displays them.

4. Automated scores, labels, and daily ideas

U-Scores, verdicts, setup labels, Daily Technical Picks, Sector Movers, Results Radar, Order Wins, Themes, alerts, and similar outputs are generated by formulas, thresholds, ranking rules, and data-extraction pipelines. Terms such as “setup”, “strong”, “quality”, “compounder”, “turnaround”, “watch”, “target”, or “stop” describe the Platform’s internal taxonomy. They do not express certainty, conviction on your behalf, or a recommendation to transact.

Models simplify reality. Thresholds can be arbitrary, signals can lag, classifications can change after a refresh, and a stock can satisfy a model while remaining unsuitable or losing value. IndiaPulse may revise its methodologies as data, testing, or product design changes.

Signal Ledger entries are timestamped model snapshots, not actual trades. Their reference price does not prove that an order could have been filled at that price or size. Outcome calculations exclude brokerage, taxes, slippage, bid-ask spread, opening gaps, market impact, and execution constraints. Daily high-low data cannot establish whether a target or invalidation level occurred first when both were touched in the same session; those cases are marked ambiguous rather than treated as wins.

Signal Performance Laboratory statistics are descriptive aggregates of available Platform outcomes. Small samples, overlapping holding periods, missing observations, changing market regimes, model revisions, and selection effects can make an apparent edge unstable. Cohort drawdown is a diagnostic path built from grouped signal outcomes, not the audited drawdown of an executable portfolio or client account.

Corporate Red-Flag Radar labels are automated review prompts, not allegations, findings of misconduct, credit opinions, or sell recommendations. A keyword, ratio threshold, extraction error, duplicate filing, immaterial event, or legitimate business context can trigger or suppress a label. Read the complete linked source and subsequent clarifications before drawing a conclusion.

5. Artificial intelligence

IndiaPulse uses artificial intelligence in some summaries, commentary, document extraction, and research-assistance features. AI output may be produced without human review and can hallucinate facts, omit context, misread a filing, confuse similarly named companies, make faulty inferences, or present stale information confidently. AI text is not an analyst opinion and must be checked against the cited filing, exchange announcement, company report, and current market data before use.

6. Data accuracy, freshness, and source limitations

Market, company, financial, corporate-action, result, announcement, and news data may come from exchanges, issuers, public websites, or other third-party providers. Data can be delayed, unavailable, incomplete, duplicated, restated, incorrectly mapped, or parsed incorrectly. Quotes are not guaranteed to be real-time. A displayed refresh timestamp shows when IndiaPulse last stored or processed an item; it does not certify when the source created it or whether a later update exists.

Corporate actions, symbol changes, illiquid trades, adjusted price history, exceptional accounting items, and revisions can distort charts and ratios. If Platform data conflicts with an exchange filing, issuer disclosure, or your broker, rely on the authoritative source and report the discrepancy.

Corporate-calendar dates and in-app reminder states can be revised, cancelled, delayed, parsed incorrectly, or unavailable. A reminder is not a guaranteed notification service and may not appear if the Platform, browser, device, network, scheduler, or source feed is unavailable. Maintain your own calendar and verify dates with the exchange or issuer.

7. Technical and fundamental analysis limitations

Technical indicators and chart patterns use historical price and volume data; they are lagging descriptions, not predictions. Breakouts can fail, stops can gap through, and displayed levels may not be executable. Fundamental ratios, fair values, quality scores, and result comparisons depend on reported data, normalization choices, and assumptions. They are not an audit, credit rating, forensic review, or substitute for reading complete financial statements and exchange filings.

8. Backtests and hypothetical performance

Backtests, historical hit rates, model portfolios, and hypothetical returns do not represent an actual account or promise future performance. Results may be affected by selection, survivorship, look-ahead, data-quality, and overfitting biases. Unless expressly included, they may exclude taxes, brokerage, fees, slippage, liquidity constraints, market impact, rejected orders, dividends, and corporate actions. Past performance is not a guarantee of future results.

9. Market risk

Securities-market investments involve risk, including volatility, liquidity, concentration, business, governance, accounting, interest-rate, currency, regulatory, and permanent-capital-loss risk. Small-cap, micro-cap, SME, turnaround, distressed, and momentum securities can be especially volatile or difficult to exit. You can lose part or all of the capital invested. No score, alert, target, stop level, diversification rule, or portfolio model can assure a profit or prevent a loss.

10. Results, order wins, themes, and event interpretation

A result, contract announcement, management statement, sector move, or theme label can be material without being positive for valuation or future returns. Order values may include taxes, options, framework limits, consortium shares, multi-year amounts, cancellation clauses, or other conditions. Read the original filing and assess margins, execution risk, working capital, counterparties, dilution, and valuation before drawing a conclusion.

12. Third-party content and potential interests

Links, issuer documents, news, broker or exchange references, and other third-party content are provided for convenience. IndiaPulse does not control their availability, accuracy, security, or terms, and inclusion is not an endorsement. Coverage, ranking, or omission of a security is also not an independent certification of that security. Do not infer that the Platform operator, contributors, or data providers have no financial interest in a displayed security merely because no position is shown.

13. Your responsibility before acting

  • Verify the security, price, timestamp, filing, and calculation independently.
  • Read complete exchange and issuer disclosures, not only Platform summaries.
  • Use your broker for executable prices, order status, and contract notes.
  • Do not share broker, demat, bank passwords, PINs, or OTPs with IndiaPulse.
  • For personalized advice, consult a SEBI-registered Investment Adviser; for regulated security research, use a SEBI-registered Research Analyst.

14. Availability and no warranty

The Platform is provided on an “as available” basis. Features, sources, coverage, refresh schedules, and methodologies may change, fail, or be withdrawn. IndiaPulse does not warrant uninterrupted availability or the accuracy, completeness, fitness, or timeliness of any output. Always maintain an independent data and execution path for time-sensitive decisions.

15. Updates and contact

This disclosure may be updated as the Platform, its data sources, or applicable rules change. The date at the top identifies the latest published version. For questions or to report a material data error, email privacy@indiapulse.org.

This disclosure explains the Platform’s intended research use; it does not remove your responsibility to comply with applicable law or to obtain professional advice where appropriate.
